Job description

Operation of all machinery and equipment used in the printing process. The employee will be responsible for printing preparation activities (depending on the printing technique), supervising production processes, operating production process related machinery (selection of components and setting technological parameters).

Requirements

A person in this position should be a graduate of a vocational, secondary or post-secondary school which prepares for work in printing companies, or have specialised courses or training completed. A printer should be characterised by: physical endurance, attention divisibility and ability to stay focused, dexterity, and perceptiveness etc. Aesthetic sensitivity and self-control, technical skills and good eyesight are also important qualities. Apart from that, a printer must organise their time of work well, and have computer and time management skills.
